Nicholas S. Ostman, MAI (Nick) is the primary appraiser and founder of Real Estate Solutions, Inc. Nick has had a long career in real estate beginning in 1991 while still in college at St. Cloud State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate. He began by "holding the other end of the tape" and began aiding appraisers in the Appraisal Engineering Bureau with residential and small commercial properties. Nick then worked as an asset manager for a short time with the Minneapolis Teachers Retirement Fund before finding a long term home at Diversified Real Estate Services, Inc. Nick was an appraiser with Diversified Real Estate beginning in 1994 and became an owner in 2002. With over 26 years of experience in the real estate industry, Nick has an established expertise in almost all types of commercial real estate.
Nick is an avid sportsman that enjoys the outdoors, hunting, and snowmobiling. He and his beautiful wife, Jade, have two children: a wonderful son, Brooks and delightful daughter Giada. When time permits, the Ostman family enjoys spending time at their cabin in Northern Minnesota where they boat, fish, and relax.
